My name is Jessica and I am the sole contributor to this blog. I do all the research, the writing, the editing, the proofing, the fine tuning and I give it all my love.
I was born and raised in Manchester UK which is where I spent my entire childhood and even my university days. I attended The University of Manchester from 2013 – 2016 and have a Bachelors in Drama and English Literature.
From 2018 – 2020 I lived in South Korea and taught English in a Korean middle school. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I lived out of my comfort zone, I grew as a person, I travelled around Asia, I met amazing people, I learnt how to teach and I had countless adventures. It was challenging but truly incredible.
I have always had a love of travelling. I was exposed to overseas travel (to the USA and mainland Europe) all throughout my childhood and teens; mostly through my family but I was also privileged to attend a high school that offered overseas trips. After I graduated University I travelled through Europe again, this time for 23 days, visiting 11 countries.
Whilst living in Korea, I managed to travel to Japan, Bali, Taipei and Singapore.
In total I have travelled to 20 countries… and I want to travel to more.
Who knows where I’ll go next…?
Finally, aside from travelling some of my other passions include film, music, learning, baking/cooking, fitness and amateur astronomy.
